Holiday deposit and cancellation questions
Stays that begin 7 days before through 7 days after a major holiday need a 50% non-refundable deposit 30 days before drop-off. Cancel at least 7 days ahead and the deposit becomes a 100% credit on your account; cancel later and it is forfeited.

The rule
Which stays need a holiday deposit?
Stays that begin from 7 days before a major holiday through 7 days after it. The rate sheet's example: if your stay begins on the 10th and a holiday falls on the 17th, a deposit is due.
How much is the deposit and when is it due?
50% of the stay, due 30 days before drop-off. It is non-refundable, with the credit exception described below.
Is a deposit due at other times of the year?
No holiday deposit applies outside those windows. Stays longer than four weeks use a card on file charged every two weeks in advance.
Windows for 2026 and 2027
What are the next windows?
Stays beginning November 19 to December 3, 2026 (Thanksgiving); December 18, 2026 to January 8, 2027 (Christmas and New Year); March 21 to April 4, 2027 (Easter).
And later in 2027?
May 24 to June 7 (Memorial Day), June 27 to July 11 (July 4th) and August 30 to September 13 (Labor Day). Thanksgiving 2027 runs November 18 to December 2.
Which days is the kennel closed?
All day on New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. It closes at 3:00 PM on Thanksgiving Eve, Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.
Canceling
What if I cancel at least 7 days ahead?
You receive a credit on your account for 100% of the deposit.
What if I cancel with less than 7 days' notice?
The entire deposit is forfeited.
Does the deposit come off my bill?
The balance of the stay is paid at pick-up. Ask when you book how the deposit is applied to your balance.

Does the rule apply to cats?
The deposit applies to reservations in the windows, so please call to confirm for a cattery stay.
