Happy extras
Happy extras are optional treats and play sessions you can add to a stay: a Happy Pup Cup or Happy Lick Mat for $4.99, a Happy Pupsicle for $7.99, and an additional picture play session for $14.99 or a bubble session for $19.99, on the 2026 rate sheet.
The base nightly rate already covers house food, medications and walks. Extras are the fun add-ons that make a stay feel like a vacation, and they are entirely your choice.

- Happy Pup Cup: a small cup treat, topped with real bacon bits.

Extras and the daily enrichment rule
California law asks every boarding kennel to give each pet daily enrichment (Health and Safety Code 122383(e)), so extras are never needed for a pet to be looked after. They are optional treats on top.
That is why the extras are described as treats rather than necessities. If you want your dog to have a special moment, add one; if you prefer to keep a stay simple, the standard care is complete.
How to add extras
Ask for them when you book, or tell the front desk at drop-off. Mention any food allergies so staff can choose the right flavor. Extras are added to your bill and paid with the balance at pick-up. The stay cost estimator shows nightly totals, and the full price list is on the rates page.

What pet owners say
I love boarding my dog there because on vacation I know he'll be safe. Well treated heat and AC all is good. They send me photos of them and they're very very friendly staff. I highly recommend HAPPY PAWS to anyone.
Just picked up my pup Loki from a 4 day stay, the staff was extremely kind and helpful. We cannot be more happy with the level of care and pictures uploaded while we were away. Loki even got a bath before pick up! Which I highly recommend. We plan to use them whenever we have the need.
