Picture play and bubble play sessions
Additional picture play sessions are $14.99 per kennel, and additional bubble picture play sessions are $19.99 per kennel, on the 2026 rate sheet. Google reviewers often mention the photos of their dogs playing while they were away.
$14.99 per kennel, BUBBLE session $19.99 (2026 rates)
Seeing your dog happy is the best part of a trip, and the picture play sessions are the kennel's way of making that easy. The sheet lists them as additional sessions, so you can add more whenever you like.
At a glance
- Additional picture play session: $14.99 per kennel (2026 rates)
- Additional BUBBLE picture play session: $19.99 per kennel
- Priced per kennel, not per dog
- Ask the front desk how sessions are scheduled during your stay
What the sessions are
The 2026 sheet sells additional picture play sessions per kennel, and the bubble version costs a little more. As the names suggest, a session is play time with pictures of your dog, and the bubble version adds bubbles for chasing. Because the price is per kennel, dogs sharing a kennel share one charge.
The front desk can tell you how many sessions are part of a stay and when they happen; please ask when you book.
What customers say
Photos are one of the things reviewers mention most often. Customers often say they received pictures or videos of their dogs playing during a trip, and that those updates made time away easier. Happy Paws has a 4.9 star rating from 133 Google reviews; read them on the reviews page.

Play time and the daily enrichment rule
California law asks every boarding kennel to give each pet daily enrichment (Health and Safety Code 122383(e)), so extras are never needed for a pet to be looked after. They are optional treats on top.
The property has large fenced play areas and a grass field. A picture or bubble session is extra attention on top of that, with the photos as a keepsake. See the acres and play yards.
Adding sessions
- Tell the kennel at booking or at drop-off that you would like extra sessions.
- Mention your dog's personality, for example if your dog is shy.
- Pay with your balance at pick-up.

What pet owners say
I love boarding my dog there because on vacation I know he'll be safe. Well treated heat and AC all is good. They send me photos of them and they're very very friendly staff. I highly recommend HAPPY PAWS to anyone.
Just picked up my pup Loki from a 4 day stay, the staff was extremely kind and helpful. We cannot be more happy with the level of care and pictures uploaded while we were away. Loki even got a bath before pick up! Which I highly recommend. We plan to use them whenever we have the need.
