Estimate a boarding stay

Boarding is charged by the night, like a hotel, so the math is simple but easy to get wrong when discounts and sharing come in. This page explains what the tool counts and what it leaves out.

What the estimator counts

The tool counts nights from the day you drop off to the day you pick up. A dog is priced by kennel class: $52 a night in Economy, $59 in Business Class and $72 in First Class. A cat is $35 a night. A second pet sharing a kennel or tower is priced at the reduced sharing rate, such as $50 for a second dog in Business Class or $30 for a second cat.

If you pick up in the afternoon, the tool adds half of one night's fee, as the sheet specifies. Check-out is by 11:30 AM.

Discounts it applies

Stays of 14 nights or more use the long-term rate, which is $65, $53 or $47 for one dog depending on class. The military rate is the same price. The tool uses one or the other. Because the kennel has not said they combine, the estimate uses one reduced price and your confirmation may differ.

What it cannot tell you

• Whether a kennel is open for your dates: online booking is a request and the kennel confirms every reservation
• Holiday deposits: use the holiday deposit checker
• Extras you may add, such as a Happy Pup Cup at $4.99 or a bath, which is priced by size and coat on request
• Taxes or fees outside the rate sheet

The rule it applies

The price source is the 2026 rate sheet, effective for reservations made on or after January 1, 2026. House food, medications, special feedings and walks are included, so the estimate has no line for them. Balance is paid at pick-up; stays over four weeks are charged every two weeks to a card on file.

A quick check by hand

Multiply the nightly rate by the nights. One dog in Business Class for seven nights is 7 times $59, which is $413. If the tool and your arithmetic differ, trust the sheet and call 707-678-6600.
