Small pet boarding

Small pets have needs a dog or cat does not, so the best way to plan is a short phone call. Tell the staff which animal you have, what it eats and how long you will be away.

The cage

The kennel may ask you to provide the cage. A familiar cage with familiar smells helps a small animal settle, so bring the one your pet lives in, cleaned before you arrive. Mark everything with your name.

Food and routine

Write down what your pet eats, how much and when. Bring enough for the whole stay plus extra. For rabbits, the House Rabbit Society describes a diet of about 80 percent hay, with vegetables and a small share of fruit as treats, so a rabbit's hay should be packed generously. Switching foods suddenly can upset a small animal's stomach.

Before you call

Have a few details ready: the species, how many animals, the dates, the food and any medication. Small animals do best with a routine, so write down feeding times and anything that tells you your pet is unwell. Bring your phone number and an emergency contact who is not traveling with you.

Pricing and booking

Small-pet boarding has no listed price on the 2026 rate sheet. Please ask by phone, then send a booking request or confirm with the staff. Tours run every day from 9 to 11 AM and 2 to 4 PM if you want to see the property first.
