Medications given at no extra charge

Here the rate sheet says rates are all inclusive, and administering medications is one of the things the kennel names as included.

What no extra charge covers

The rates page states that the kennel does not charge extra for special feedings, administering medications or walks. A cat in the cattery at $35 a night or a dog in a Business Class kennel at $59 a night pays the same nightly rate with or without medicine, on the 2026 rates.

What to send with your pet

1. The medication in its original labeled container from your veterinarian or pharmacy.
2. Written instructions: the name, the dose, the times of day and whether it goes with food.
3. Enough for the entire stay plus a couple of extra doses in case your return is delayed.
4. Your vet's phone number, which you can also list on the boarding agreement.

Medicine and meals

Staff measure food by the instructions you give, in standard measures like cups and teaspoons, so say whether a tablet is hidden in food or given before a meal. If your pet takes medicine with a special treat at home, tell staff that too. One reviewer mentions that staff keep their dog on schedule with medicine.

When to speak with a manager

The kennel's guidance is that a pet may not be accepted for boarding if it is not in good health, and that diabetic dogs and cats are normally better off in a less stressful environment.
