For Christmas and New Year 2026-27, stays beginning December 18 through January 8 fall in the holiday deposit window, so the kennel asks a 50% non-refundable deposit 30 days before drop-off. The kennel is closed all day on December 25 and January 1 and closes at 3:00 PM on December 24 and 31.

When the deposit is due
The window for stays that begin from December 18, 2026 through January 8, 2027 joins the Christmas window (December 18 to January 1) and the New Year's Day window (December 25 to January 8). A stay that begins on December 18 needs its deposit by November 18. One that begins December 28 needs it by November 28.
Cancel at least 7 days before drop-off and the deposit becomes a 100% credit on your account. Cancel with less notice and the deposit is forfeited.
A sample holiday stay
One dog in a Business Class kennel from December 22 to December 29 is 7 nights at $59, $413, with half as the deposit. A stay of 14 or more nights, such as December 20 to January 3, gets the long-term rate of $53 a night, 14 x $53, $742. A cat in the cattery is $35 a night. Prices are the 2026 rates. Before you leave
Check vaccines now. Canine influenza needs a booster 3 to 4 weeks after the first dose, and every record must be current through your pick-up day. Send them to your online account. Bring special food in its original bag and any medications with written instructions. Leave your pet in the car at check-in while a staff member carries things in.

Is the kennel open between Christmas and New Year?
Yes, apart from December 31 (closes at 3:00 PM) and January 1 (closed all day). Other days keep regular hours.
Does one deposit cover both holidays?
Ask when you book. The sheet applies the deposit to stays that begin in the window, so please call 707-678-6600 to confirm.
Can I drop off on Christmas Eve?
Yes, between 1:00 and 3:00 PM.
How early should I request dates?
