The records must show vaccines that will not expire during the stay.
Three ways
Upload through your account (the Book / My Account link), email a copy to HappyPawsKennels_Dixon@yahoo.com, or bring paper to your first drop-off. Pick what is easiest.
- Ask your vet clinic to send you the record.
- Check the dates against the last day of your stay.
- Upload it to your account, email it, or bring it.
What to check
Dogs need rabies, distemper/parvo, Bordetella and canine influenza. Cats need rabies and FVRCP. Look at the expiry dates before you send anything. See vaccination requirements.
After a booster
Send an updated record when your pet gets a booster. That keeps the file good through the end of your stay.
More help
The sending vaccine records page has the details, and the vaccine readiness checker reviews your dates.
Common mix-ups
A record that expires in the middle of a stay is the usual snag. Check each vaccine date against your last day. Canine influenza needs an initial dose and a booster 3 to 4 weeks later, and the kennel accepts a dog after the first dose. Send the booster record when it is done.
Who to ask
Your veterinarian's office can email the record in minutes. Request it a few days ahead of your trip. Questions can go to 707-678-6600.
Keep a copy
Keep a copy of the record on your phone, so you can show it again at drop-off if the kennel asks.
