The second building opened on October 5, 2022 and doubled the kennel's capacity.
Two buildings
The original building went up in 1971 and holds the Economy runs. The second building is a T shape: a front building with the lobby and cattery, and a kennel building with the dog runs. In the kennel building ten runs are First Class and forty are Business Class.
What a run is
A run is an indoor room and an outdoor yard with a doggie door between them. Each dog has its own space, and neighbors can see each other through the fence. See heated and air-conditioned runs for climate details.
Cats
Cats board in individual four-level towers, each with its own litter box and blanket, plus a cat tree and cat houses. Details are on the cat boarding page.
Why the count matters
A larger kennel means a stay does not depend on one tiny room. Holiday weeks still fill, so the holiday boarding page explains the deposit and why to call early. Reservations are requests, and the kennel confirms each one.
What 100 runs means for you
Reservations are requests that the kennel confirms, so ask early for holiday and summer dates and call 707-678-6600 to check. The holiday deposit checker shows when a deposit applies.
Seeing it yourself
The tour page and the buildings and runs gallery show both buildings, and a staff member can walk you through during tour hours, 9 to 11 AM and 2 to 4 PM.
