Paying at the end follows from how the kennel bills: by the night, like a hotel, with the total known when you collect your pet.
The usual stay
For an ordinary stay, nothing is due at drop-off. At pick-up the kennel adds up the nights at the posted rate, the half-night charge for an afternoon pick-up if it applies, and any extras you chose. Posted daily rates apply to the whole stay.
Stays that begin near a holiday
Holiday windows run from seven days before through seven days after a major holiday. A stay that begins inside one needs a 50% non-refundable deposit 30 days before drop-off. The deposit counts toward the total, and you pay the rest at pick-up.
Stays longer than four weeks
A card goes on file, and the kennel charges it every two weeks in advance. That means the first two weeks are paid at the start. For a month-long trip, plan for that charge before you leave. The long-term rate, for 14 nights or more, applies to the whole stay.
If your plans change
Extending a stay adds nights at the nightly rate. If you are delayed past your pick-up date, call: a pet unclaimed ten days after the pick-up date without any contact is considered abandoned under the boarding agreement.
