People ask this when a house sale, a remodel or a move leaves a gap of weeks or months. The money side is simple arithmetic on the 2026 rates.
What the rate sheet says
The 2026 rates list a long-term line for 14 or more nights: $65 per night in First Class, $53 in Business Class and $47 in Economy, about 10% below the one-dog price. The military line is the same reduced price, so the two do not stack. The agreement says the posted daily rates apply to the whole stay.
What a long stay adds up to
These totals are plain multiplication of the sheet's nightly prices. Two dogs sharing a kennel pay the additional-dog price for the second dog.
| Kennel class | 28 nights at the long-term rate | Each two-week charge (14 nights) |
|---|---|---|
| First Class | 28 x $65 = $1,820 | 14 x $65 = $910 |
| Business Class | 28 x $53 = $1,484 | 14 x $53 = $742 |
| Economy | 28 x $47 = $1,316 | 14 x $47 = $658 |
How billing works past four weeks
For a stay over four weeks, the kennel keeps a card on file and charges it every two weeks in advance. Shorter stays pay the balance at pick-up. Cash, checks, debit, Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover are all accepted, so you can settle the final balance however you like.
Keep the pick-up date current
Call if the pick-up date changes. The agreement treats a pet that is still unclaimed 10 days after the scheduled pick-up date, with no contact from the owner, as abandoned, so a quick phone call protects you. Vaccine records must stay good through the end of the stay, which on a long stay usually means sending updated records when a booster comes due. More planning advice is on the long-term boarding guide.
