Frequent travelers want a boarding routine more than a boarding experience: the same drop-off, the same food instructions and an account that is already set up.

Set up the account once

The boarding agreement is signed once. Your ProPetware account holds vaccine records, so later trips are booking requests with no new forms. Keep the records current: rabies, distemper/parvo, Bordetella and canine influenza for dogs; rabies and FVRCP for cats. The kennel confirms every reservation, and the booking page sends the request.

If your trips are a surprise, call 707-678-6600 and ask about the dates. Space is not guaranteed in advance, but the kennel can tell you what is open.

Short trips and the clock

Charges are per night, like a hotel. A Monday-morning drop-off and Thursday-morning pick-up is three nights. Check-out is by 11:30 AM; collecting between 2:00 and 5:00 PM adds half of the nightly fee. If your flight lands in the evening, the next morning is often cheaper than a late pick-up the same day.

A Tuesday-to-Friday trip is three nights. One dog in an Economy kennel costs 3 x $52, or $156 on the 2026 rates, and a cat is 3 x $35, or $105.

Airports and drive time

Month-long projects

A three-week assignment with one dog in Business Class is 21 nights at the long-term $53, or $1,113 on the 2026 rates. In Economy it is 21 x $47, or $987. Cats are $35 a night. Past four weeks, the kennel keeps a card on file and charges it every two weeks in advance. Repeat stays and long stays are two different budgets, so compare them with the stay estimator.

Day care between trips

Dog day care is $38 a day, or $7 an hour up to the daily cap. The buy-10-get-12 package is $380 for one dog. That suits a week at home between trips.
