At 4 to 7 pounds, the Singapura is tiny, but its personality fills a tower. It likes quiet and routine.
Smallest on the list
The CFA says adult males weigh about 6 to 7 pounds and females about 4 to 5, with a solid, muscular body. A cattery tower level is generous for a cat that size, and a small cat can reach the top levels easily.
Wary after change
The CFA says Singapuras are confident in familiar surroundings but may become wary after major changes, and should be given time to adjust. They prefer quiet homes. A boarding stay is a change, so expect a settling day, and tell us what comforts yours. Bring one familiar item.
Extroverted and vocal
The same profile calls them extroverted, curious, playful and intelligent, and surprisingly vocal. A talkative cat may call out when people pass the tower; that is normal.
A short coat
The CFA says the short coat lies close to the body and sheds lightly, with weekly combing to remove dead hair. Bathing is only needed for showing, and it recommends cat-specific products. Nothing needs to be done before check-in.
What 5 nights cost
Five nights for one Singapura is 5 x $35 = $175 on the 2026 rates. A second cat sharing the tower is $30 a night. Check-out is by 11:30 AM, and afternoon pick-up is half of the nightly fee.
Records and food
Rabies and FVRCP must be current through the last day. House food is free; your own is welcome in its original bag. The CFA advises asking breeders about progressive retinal atrophy, so tell us about any eye care your cat is on. Medications are given at no extra charge.
Booking the stay
Use the Book / My Account link to send an online booking request, and upload your cat's vaccine records there. The kennel confirms every reservation, and a boarding agreement is signed once. Drop-off and pick-up run 7:30 to 11:30 AM and 2:00 to 5:00 PM every day, and a quiet morning drop-off gives a wary cat the whole day to settle. Tours are open 9 to 11 AM and 2 to 4 PM with no appointment, so you can see the cattery before you book.
