The drive
From Vacaville you take Interstate 80 for about 4.7 miles, then Midway Road to the kennel. The whole trip is 10.6 miles and about 21 minutes without traffic. Midway is a country road, so allow extra time for the 11:30 AM check-out.
Meals and medicine are part of the price
Cats eat canned pate and a chicken-and-rice kibble from the house supply at no charge. If your cat is on a special diet, bring the food in its original bag with the amounts written in cups or spoons. The kennel gives medications at no extra charge, which is a real saving for a senior cat on daily pills.
Tell the staff about allergies and anything your cat refuses. The medications page explains how to label them.
Cost for a Vacaville cat
Stays are charged by the night. Five nights for one cat is 5 x $35 = $175, and ten nights is 10 x $35 = $350. A pick-up in the afternoon window is charged half of the nightly fee instead of a full night. A booking request through the online account takes a few minutes, and the kennel confirms each reservation by phone or email.
Senior cats
Older cats often do well with a calm tower and a routine. The senior cat page covers what to tell the staff before you drop off.

Clean and well organized, with a friendly, helpful staff. Our two pitties love their periodic "vacation" stays at Happy Paws! We live an hour away, but it's well worth the drive. Highly recommended.
