[Book a stay](https://happypawskennels.propetware.com/customerLogin)[Call 707-678-6600](tel:+17076786600) [Usually fits a Business Class kennel $59 a night ยท 5 x 6 ft inside](https://happypawskennels.com/dog-boarding/business-class-kennel/) - **Weight (AKC):** 23.5 to 110 lb - **Height (AKC):** 24.5 to 27.5 in - **Kennel:** Business Class, 5 x 6 ft - **Per night:** $59 - **Bath (2024 chart):** $65 to $85 A Bouvier des Flandres is a large dog, 24.5 to 27.5 inches for males and 23.5 to 26.5 for females and 70 to 110 pounds by the AKC, with a tousled medium double coat, so one fits a Business Class kennel (5x6 ft, $59 a night on the 2026 rates). On the 2024 bath chart the Double Coated column is $65 at 51 to 75 pounds, $75 at 76 to 100 and $85 over 100. AKC describes a burly, barrel-chested, tousle-coated working dog, smart and steady, and an excellent watchdog. Its coat is the biggest line item on the bill. ## Business Class for most Business Class gives about 30 square feet inside plus 60 outside and fits one Bouvier of up to about 90 pounds. A heavy male near 110 pounds does better in [First Class](https://happypawskennels.com/dog-boarding/first-class-kennel/) at $72. ## A rough double coat The coat is a rough double coat of medium length with a beard and mustache, and AKC rates its care at 4 of 5. Shedding is 3 of 5. Weight picks the row: $65 for a smaller female, $75 for most males, $85 over 100 pounds. Please ask to confirm. ## Steady energy Energy is 4 of 5. Bouviers were bred to herd and guard, so they like space and a task. The grass field and the fenced play areas suit them, and walks are included. ## Summer A dark double coat soaks up the sun. Vacaville logs about 100 days a year at 90 degrees or more (NOAA), so the air-conditioned inside half of the run is where a Bouvier belongs at midday. ## Guarding at the fence A watchdog notices other dogs and people. Dogs see neighbors through the fence but have their own space, and staff walk your dog in from the car at check-in. ## Beard, mustache and mess The Bouvier's beard collects water and food all stay, and the outdoor half of the run adds dust. A bath on the last day sends your dog home presentable, priced from the 2024 chart by weight and coat. Ask to confirm the cell. Food is free: grain-free kibble and wet food, or your own in its original bag with cups written down. Medications are given at no extra charge, and walks are included. ## Cost A week in Business Class is 7 x $59 on the 2026 rates. At 14 nights or more it is $53.
