There is no highway and no turn to miss, but Midway is a two-lane country road. Hartley owners can reach the kennel within the morning window easily. A drop-off before work and a pick-up in the afternoon are both realistic. ## A household profile The Census counts about 2,430 people in 974 households. Median age is 53.9. Median household income is about $124,300 and median home value about $840,900. About 74 percent of homes are owner-occupied and 87 percent are single-family houses, with a median build year of 1978. About 21 percent of households have children under 18. AVMA shares give an estimate of 440 dog homes and 310 cat homes. These are modeled numbers, not a count of pets. ## Older pets, steady routines Older dogs can rest indoors in a heated or air-conditioned run, step outside through the doggie door when they like, and take their medications at no extra charge. See [senior dog boarding](https://happypawskennels.com/dog-boarding/senior-dog-boarding/) and [senior cat boarding](https://happypawskennels.com/cat-boarding/senior-cat-boarding/). ## Dropping in for a tour Since the kennel is so close, Hartley owners are welcome to stop by during tour hours, 9 to 11 AM and 2 to 4 PM, without an appointment. We cannot be more happy with the level of care and pictures uploaded while we were away. Loki even got a bath before pick up! Which I highly recommend. We plan to use them whenever we have the need.
